High water wet

Rain + unexpected opening of trout streams = small fly on a heavy hook. Hope you all are staying well. Have a great day guys!

Very nicely tied ... my favorite style too, reduced low water.
I do much the same for high water periods with my dry line. Taking advantage of the extra iron to sink my offering a bit more and keel properly in the swifter currents.

Have you Swung a Spey Fly today ??

I love it. Old school wet flies ( think lead wing coachmen ) and fan wing dries are two of my favorites. That fly, no doubt, would catch many species. Nicely done
