Very stylish. Looking good. The purple and yellow has worked really well for me the past few years. Well played.

Really nice tying Cameron
I like the colours choices, I see purple/claret in the body and wing ... deadly combination
This one will hunt, no doubts at all.

I think it's a beautiful piece of fly tying.

I'm not deterred by the tinsel, prior to the internet and macro lenses I thought I was a good tier. Now it is very hard for us, you, me, most of us to tie anything that when we view the finished super crisp close up shot under bright lighting we always find something.

Heck, take a look at some of the old fly tying guide books from the 1950's - 1980 vintage, they were all we had back in the day so we tied like those "color plates" illustrated to us. Many of the tiers who originated some of our most famous patterns wouldn't make the perfection cut today.

It's beautiful.

bwodun, I believe you may have accidentally created a classic. I like everything about this fly, from the claret underwing to the dab of red at the throat, to the overall color scheme. Oh yeah, that'll hunt.
