You make known to me the path of life;
in your presence there is fullness of joy;
at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Your fly is terrific - and the colors are right but a Golden Demon is dominated by gold tinsel. Gold flashabou?

You are correct friend!! I mixed some fox to get as close to gold as I had! I did use a bright gold braid for the body and had some copper/golden stone flash I tried to mix in. The Rhea was from an orange over natural plume which had a golden fiery brown towards the top. Hard to find gold in all those materials save the flash. But there is orange and yellow crest in the original spey fly. I tried to get as much gold hues as I could muster!!

Thanks man! Hope you have been able to get out and find some fish lately! Outer thaw is in full swing and hopefully the rivers will be in shape up here soon.

I would use either of these variations ... sans the eyes though
Yooper, dig that rendition dude ... you have nailed this style !!

swingdeep, I would tie that on my dry line and swing it through seams and pockets ... outstanding composition

The cool think about pattern conversions ( from one style to another) is that they can be interpreted in many different ways.
