Brown Bomber

It's been a while since I last posted, and looking at the ties being posted right now I've missed a lot! Lots of inspiration for the coming weeks. As with everyone, I've been going a bit stir crazy and not tying as much. I forced myself to sit down at the vise and tie something, as I've been dreaming (hoping and praying too) that I'll be able to make my N. Umpqua trip this year. The Washington trip ended up being a whole lot of casting practice, with not many fish around not even the gear guys were having luck. Anywho, here's a rusty brown bomber to see if one of those Umpqua fish wants to show off. Natural squirrel tail for the tail and front wings, grizzly saddle for the hackle, and rusty brown deer hair on a size 4 Partridge bomber hook.

Can't wait to see some more inspiring ties from everyone! It's good to be back.

That is a nice Bomber Jake !!
Great colour too, that rustic brown is very innocent and natural ... irresistible to aggressive fish
