Lady Florence

I saw someone tie a lady Florence and was compelled to tie one. One of my pet peeves is crappy bronze mallard, and only had a few feathers left, so used what I had. I didn't tie it in as I would have liked, I was happy with the tying until the wing, but overall like the fly. I will fish this fly and hope a steelhead doesn't notice the wing...I don't think one will Tied this on an AJ 3/0

Hope everyone is having fun at the vise during this time of isolation.

No worries, that wing will lay proper on the swing ... and yes, the steelhead will notice it and give it a taste
Very nice tying !!

Or pinch the wing forward and hit it with a quick blast from a hair dryer...a trick I learned from Davie McPhail.
