This could not be better! I like the small length of bare hook showing in front of the head. A good surface to attach your tippet knot. The tinsel body work is so sleek and trim, it looks like it was painted on.

Thanks for sharing another good example of tying.

Nice fly!

I have a hard time getting the head close enough to the eye without leaving too much space on the return loop.

Nice job on wrapping the tinsel/mylar body. Any tips for getting clean wraps like that?

Any thoughts on using olive calf tail to split the wings?
