The Skier

A variant of the vintage Dee pattern. Thanks to all for looking.

Thanks Cameron. The JC was an adder...however, looking back they are a little on the sloppy side. Improvement opportunity for next time.

Now you're talkin'
That is a wonderful variant !!
The addition of the dubbing is a good call, it doesn't upset the balance of the original pattern at all, blends nicely actually.
The Skier was originated for late summer fish of Braemar and Mar Lodge, hence the sleekness of the original. Your variation is well suited to winter steelhead with the added bulk in the upper body.
That would swing nicely on a sunk line

As soon as we see our first snow, the Skiers appear. Good job on a nice Dee pattern.

Thanks for sharing.

That was not a bad cast. I was just casting to the nearby fish.
