Lady Caroline's Peacock

A few variations to the original, olive floss for about a 1/4 of the body and peacock underwing. Tied on a #3 MCN. Have a great weekend everyone.

Very impressive variation Shannon !!
I like the highlighted butt and the underwing has added shimmer

beautiful, was hoping you would post a pic after you telling me about them awhile ago, how does the mallard react being tied so low on the shoulder?, Cameron

Hey Cameron.

Man, I'm so sorry for the slow reply. I'm just now seeing this. I honestly don't know. A friend recommended I try a splayed wing with a two thread wrap gap between the collar for better action. In retrospect I should have given it a few dry runs before posting to SP. I didn't do his theory any justice with my poorly tied fly. Short story long, I won't know until it's fished this Spring (anyone that wants to fish pre/post Albany show hit me up).
