Be on a feather wing kick as of late. Thinking about cold days and colder water. The green but spey is a split wing something that have never tried with a feather wing we’ll see how it swims soon enough!
Smokin' HOT !!! :smokin::smokin::smokin:
I would feel very comfortable swinging either of those flies knowing I have an awesome offering
Excellent composition, material placement and material selection is spot on Mr. Nickles !!
The colour combinations are confidence ... very inspiring !!!
I will also say the splayed wings impart a deadly action. I have tied saddle wings modeled after the Light Spruce trout fly that act like Dee strip wings.
It has been a while since I bought these. Last batch came from a fly shop in Chicago. So I cannot personally vouch for these, but they should be fine. $12 seems to be about right for "Chinese capes" from a rooster.
