Winter time Intruder

I know bigger flies aren’t the norm here, but I like tying different styles, it’s like art to me👍 Thought I would share. Also another ‘Bundy’s Munker’

Dang! Both flies look deadly. I'm borrowing the blue pattern for Dorado.

The rabbit and muddler head is one of my personal favorites! I borrowed the idea from the Danish Munker pattern.

The way it swims through the water is really really cool! It doesn’t swim through water, it pushes and disturbs the water! You can see air bubbles coming up and stuff. I put a tungsten bead on the tube behind the wing. Helps balance the pattern and sink it as well. I put a SBS up on another forum, if you are interested you can message me on Facebook and I’ll send some pics. My Facebook profile is under the name ‘Alexander Nyetgoodenov’ or something goofy like that!

I was thinking the same. Intruders are pretty epic for lethargic winter fish, seems to drive them mad!

Nate

Bring the swing.

Both look killer.

Danish Bunker --- Is that what they're called? 'Been using those for trevally too.
The Intruder has come a long way ever since. It think most gals and guys who fish them have sized them down.

Dorado eh?! Awesome! You have kind of piqued my interest now.....you are the second person to mention that fly for saltwater/ tropical river species.....I never would have thought of that
