Love those flies guys !!

I tie shrimpy offerings

The one shown is on a #8, but I have tied it on a #2 before.

These are a fun variations pinched on #2's

Kind of un-traditional, proportions are wacked but still pleasing to my eye. I chopped the looped eye off to try to gain that vintage look.
I find the heavy wire of this series gets me down to where the fish are in colder water well enough and keel nicely on the swing. Great for faster water too or low water and no tip, just a thin mono leader. Great modern day heavy irons in my opinion.

love the soft hackles Paul, definitely going to tie some of those up, and Mike always thought about cutting the eye off, what's the gut on the first one, is it vintage or did you brown it up with something, thanks cameron

Hey guys ! Haven't posted here in long time as i got logged out and wasn't able to figure things out till now. For any fellow i pad users, i found out that i pad will no longer keep you logged in to your favorite sites for security reasons. Understandable and also a pain in the behind. Not all sites will let you "auto fill" back in as well. Total pain.
Cool flies everyone. I have not tied myself n quite some time now as i'm busy coaching my sons hockey team as well as driving zamboni. Here's one i have tied in the past on this hook. I like it very much, as Mike said the heavy wire gets down good. Hope everyone's doing well. Cheers

Haha, yes, the glorious Zamboni gig. The kids certainly are entertained by that machine. W so many ongoing back issues, i'm just happy to have a real job again, it's been 11 yrs since i've had employment. Ice cuts, pro shop, skate sharpening and a bit of maintenance. The rink atmosphere is pleasurable and hey, no more roof framing in 90 degree weather. It's not all bad. Cheers Mike, thanks man !
