they look great! I have been using the finn Raccoon in a dubbing loop and it handles really well and makes a cool front on a sort of take off of the Hoh Bo.
Good stuff.

Thanks Mike! Took your advice on the first ones I posted awhile back (olive/white/burnt orange) and greatly reduced the bulk & size. Hard to tell from the pics but they are about 2.5”-3” long but extremely light & sparse. I think I’m using about a 1/2in Max from the hides now and fill it in with angel hair to get a tapered look

one of the cool things about this site is watching as guys hone their skill...your tying is coming along nicely...and those flies are well done!!

Thanks man. It’s funny you say that, I look back at my first flies I posted and wish I could delete them!!! But, it gives people hope right 🙂

Funny story, my daughters came down with a little cedar box with a dozen of my first flies I gave them, they just love em.....but my thoughts were: “holy crap, I’m glad I didn’t try to sell these”
