No-body Temple Dog style

Tying a few flies to ship out, thought I would share.

I’ve been tying in Rhea hackle into my hair wings before adding Spey hackle. I like it for sure, probably adds some wiggle in the water, but I like the color contrast on the vice!

And I put a quarter in there for you Mike so you can see the size! I know you requested that before 😉

A quarter? That's about $0.33cad right! Not sure how that effects fly size?

Hey man, the fly has 3 wings total. First 2 are marble fox, last one is Snowrunner.......though you could just do a longer amount of fox or goat etc.

•1st wing reverse tie then hackle.
•Next 2 wings are tied normal right on top of each other then hackle.
•and I just put some dubbing over the junction connect and begin tying the wing immediately. No body or body hackle etc.

Hope that helps!

You are probably right Dan! I assumed it would give a good point of reference, but just holding it in my hand probably did that
