"The Good Old Days" framing

This frame is for the Miramichi Salmon Assoc.'s Icebreaker fundraiser on 4/27/19. Features a 1920's photo of a sport and his guides on a New Brunswick river, and five featherwings from days gone by (although they're all still perfectly effective flies!). Frame, matting and flies by yours truly.

Nice job! I'm sure it will be enjoyed for many years by who is fortunate enough to take it home.

Well played Gary! That sepia toned photo is complimented well with the undermat and frame. Really choice piece! The flies are no joke either.

This one was a lot of fun to develop...except of course for those pesky bronze mallard wings! Thanks for all your kind words.

Stunning work of art. The flies complement the picture above. Now we know why you tied the Logie and posted it about a year or so ago. It fits naturally into your theme of 'Days gone by'.

I am glad that I am not the only one that finds bronze mallard pesky. Small flies (#6) are especially pesky when the tie down location of the wing is not in the sweet spot of the feather.

Your posts showing the art work you donate to the Miramichi Salmon Association are always appreciated. Thanks, once again for sharing your work with us.

That was not a bad cast. I was just casting to the nearby fish.
