Playing with Composite Loops

Have been playing with these lately for a spring trip to the Skeena-ville.. Sure makes a bug, buggy! (ya, im still tying)

No idea why this photo is turned 90 degrees..

Composite loops changed how I tie now.. A lot of loops these days!

Dude! Nice!

They're pretty similar to how i used to tie them, as most stuff was in a loop. Now it's just a little more efficient as there is pretty well just one loop now.

If you tie Composite Loops, the Loon D Loop Tweezers are awesome. Made my loops way easier to insert, and am able to keep materials where I want them and do not have to rearrange once in the loop. The tweezers are also sharp at the point and works as bodkin to pick material out once spun, which means I don,t have to find another tool on my disorganized bench.

A great way to mix materials and have it look natural, without that manufactured look ... a brilliant concept in my opinion.
Your loops look fantastic, not dense at all. Another excellent skill you have shown us.

yeah man , i'm diggin that fly . sparse and full all at once . i have some tubes tied up like that , easy to cast , sink fast and they pulse especially in the soft edges . great job brent !
