Brown Heron 3/0

Here is my latest instalment of classic steelhead flies. In this case, it's another Glasso pattern.

I incorporated your feedback from my previous flies into this one (I counter-wrapped hackle, I dubbed the seal into split single strand floss, etc...). Your feedback is a gift to me and I thank you for it.

I just love the look of bronze mallard. It's a highly underrated material in my opinion.

Looking forward to additional critiques on this one as I am striving to achieve your standard.

The balance of the materials and their refined placement has yielded an exquisite resultÖ breathtaking, really. Syd is nodding his approval, I'm sure of it!
