Blue Jay

A pattern found in J. H. Hale, How to Tie Salmon Flies, third edition, 1930. This is my second attempt, with a fuller wing and hackle. This time with a dyed guinea hackle as a sub of jay and also sides of natural guinea. Still need much more practise to master full volume wings, but it's going in the right direction. Enjoy ;-)
