Whiskeyjin flees tied in hand for FFC

Jin was one of the two fellows on Speypages that sent me on the tailspin of tying fishing flies without a vise (the other being GR8LAKESFLYER). Jin's flies always capture my attention, but it is his encouraging and humble demeanor on these forums that I really applaud. A world class tyer willing to help out a beginner or send flies to a good cause like Fly Fishing Collaborative.

Being able to hold his flies in hand I get to to exclaim, "Oh heck yeah!".

Ladies and Gents, for your viewing pleasure...

Jin, your flies are magnificent.

Cheers,
Adrian

Awe man! Just when I thought I was happy, out come those beauties. That guy is a master, I just love the look of his flies. Sitting here staring at the bottom one trying to figure out how to recreate the sweet wing on that.

I couldn't agree with you more Adrian. Top notch from tying to attitude. Great work there Jin!

I particularly like the last one - is that dyed black pheasant rump over white turkey?

Great effect what ever it is...

I don't think it's pheasant rump, Eunan. Really soft fibers...I'm guessing goose, but I'm not great ID'ing materials. Hope Jin pipes up to answer our intrigue...I love that fly too.

Holy Shnikeys! Damn Jin! Every time he posts up his goodies it scrambles my brain. My eyes get twitchy, my heart murmurs. This is another one of those seizure inducing moments. I love his wings and profiles so much I might just......
