October steelhead

Swinging a Black/olive bronze mallard spey tied on A.J. #1.5 blind eye I caught this 24" Great Lakes steelhead and lost 2 others. A good day!

Those Great Lakes steelhead look to be in great shape! Food source and water conditions must be primo!

Nifty fly too!

Those extra rings on your rod handle for hangin' a second reel and throwin' two lines!? Awesome idea!! Who'd have thunk it?!

What a lovely fresh fish, there certainly doesn't to be any shortage of food for them on their' feeding grounds!

Nice fly too.

Regards, Tyke.
