Sometimes Home has nothing to do with where you live

I took a trip last week and it made me realize that home has nothing to do with where I live. It isn't with a two handed rod but here is my thoughts and a report:

Fishing continues to teach me that it is more than catching fish.

Hope everyone has a home they don't live at.

There is more than a small amount of truth to what you have written there, my friend. Good stuff.

I agree with all. I love where I live wouldn't trade it for the world. But my true home waters are not yet decided. I could write a book about the last six years of fishing hopefully the next six are as inspirational? Right now it's toss up between the Clearwater and the lower Skeena that have my attention and each have the feeling of home for me. It has more to do with friends and traditions then the actual fishing. Although this fishing can be pretty damn good at times, just good enough to keep me coming back and learning new things each year.
