Spliced Bamboo 2 Hander

I know I'm going to regret selling this but I have some medical bills I have to pay. The rod is built off of the Anglers Roost bamboo blanks and is 10' 6" and is about a 6/7wt. I threw a 420gr scandi compact on it and really enjoyed it. The rod comes with two tips, rod sock, and a REC rod tube. Nickle silver with wood insert reel seat by Struble as well as the Agate guides which are also Struble. This is a really fun rod to fish with and a great rod to get into the bamboo world without taking out a second mortgage. As I said, if it weren't for some stupid medical bills I would be keeping this thing.

SOLD

Thanks,
Adam

Just the larger/heavy rods. If an 8wt, or above, it has to 'go.' Just not enough of 'me' to enjoy casting those kind of rods at this point. The one 'good thing' is the Steelhead here on the Rogue just aren't that big (a 10 pound winter fish would be a WOOZER!) so heavy rods bring little to the Party.

Have one 15' 10wt Sage that I have to send along. Finding a mailing tube that beast will fit into (for mailing/UPS) has been a pain where I sit. Knew I had one 'somewhere' and finally found the damned thing a couple of days ago.

OK Fred---if you're thinking of unloading that Milbros two-hander, let me know because I'll buy it right back from ya!

Wish I'd had the funds to chase this one here...nice grab!

Steve is a 'Master Craftsman' at what ever he does ... the good thing, once I get that Puppy in my hands, is to take the short drive and 'How do I put this thing together?' Only 'Boo's' I have don't require a splicing. Save for 60 years back this will be 'new ground' for me.

Splicing

Hello Fred,
That's going to be a fun rod! I have one from Bob Clay and he has a pretty good video up on how to easily tape them up. Incredible how strong they are afterwards. It truly is like having a one piece rod. I was a lucky guy to have landed a very nice buck up in BC (40 x 19) on his 11' for 6/7 this last fall. Underline "lucky".
Here is the link.
