Spey Flies How to tie them - Bob Veverka for sale

Hello gentlemen, I joined this forum because I am looking for a place to sell my Bob Veverka Spey flies how to tie them book and figured this might be a good place to start. Multiple places online have this book for astronomical prices, but just as the pawn stars say, asking price is wayyy different than selling price. I do realize this book is out of print, and I guess my question is does anyone have an interest in it? I am open to offers but I am not sure what to ask for it. Hit me with a good offer and I'll sell it to you. I will accept the first best offer. I am away from the computer some days but I will check my email and this site as much as I possibly can. If I don't respond, please be patient with me. I will post a notice here when I sell the book as not to confuse anyone further. I accept Paypal as payment and I will ship the book bubble wrapped and insured via priority mail. I have included photos. I hope they help. It is a first edition stackpole, and It is in beautiful shape. The binding is solid, the dust jacket is near perfect. There are no tears anywhere on or in the book and it is tight!
I hope to hear from a few of you who would treasure this book. It came from an amazing 50 year collection. If you would like to read about it on Scotts blog, here is the link:http://scarles.org/blog/cutthroat-st...-lost-forever/
Someday I will start tying spey flies, but for now I am more into photography and will use the proceeds to enhance my lens pool. Thank you in advance. I really appreciate your time :-)

A fella just sold one on here for $30 I believe? If I didn't already own the book I would've jumped on that. Well worth the price. It's a great book. Good luck with the sale, it won't last long

You are required to post an asking price since this is not an auction site.

I'll also offer $30 for it, but I additionally offer 'free' shipping

Id like to get $200 for it. Ill take the best offer. I've already had 5 come in higher than 30$
If I could have scored it for $30 I would have been all over it to considering you cant find one online for less than $430 (at my last check)

You can go on Google Play like I did and pay $32.00. And read it any time you like. JMHO.

Does this mean that the best offer gets it? --- just like an auction site ?

$200 for this book? That's a bit much. I have a copy in equal condition that I picked up for LESS than half of what you are asking.

I'd have liked to have gotten $200 for my first edition (1907) JJ Hardy - Salmon fishing! Alas, it didnt happen.

Good luck. Dont be fooled by prices you find online - those books at those prices are still available for a reason. They're over priced.

I think the first half if the first sentence of the first post said everything there is to say about this thread.

I did a quick search on this book just out of curiosity. It ranges from the original price of about $40 to several used copies at $700, to a new one at $1000 and I even saw one at $3000. Most show a print date of 2004 so its not like its an antique classic. But no longer in print drives the price up no doubt. Just thought the price range was a tad bizarre. Are there print or edition differences?
