As the title says, looking for an original case only for this reel.

Thanks

Are you after a blue one or a black one? Or... an olive neoprene case? Depends upon year of manufacture.

Preferably black, similar to pictures although the inscription can be somewhat different. The one pictured is 4.75" X 3" and holds the spare spool. I am looking for the next size up to hold the reel.

Thanks

I have a black salmon 2 case but would be hard pressed to give it up. I'm sure there are lots around and it might help if you post what you are willing to pay for one.

If 'No Joy' here, ...

Shoot Hardy a e-mail; I've found them to be very responsive.

In from the shop for a cup of tea and a bickie. No heat in the shop! I measured what I have in surplus cases - I have been selling the really good vintage reels in fitted wooden cases, makes the sale! In a size larger than 4.75, have only 5.25, in blue, with the rectangular "House of Hardy" crest with castle and fly in gilt print. None are perfect. There is some tearing of the plastic material at the back of each case on either side of the zip. If you have one of the plastic cases, you know the location. So there you have it. Buff.
