Beware off Dietmar0671 selling a Loop Classic 8-11

Hi guys,

Hate to do this but I purchased as advertised on here what I though was a left hand Loop Classic 8-11. Only to find that it was a Right Hand version that someone hard swapped over themselves. The clicker only worked while reeling in and the screws had marks on them the paper work was right hand and so was the box it came in. I got a raft of excuses that he didn't know and it was his friends fly reel, and that we could send it back to Loop etc etc. I was not happy and sent it back finally today I got my money back through a paypal dispute. Thanks for that Dietmar0671, never again.

This is the reply I got back from Loop when I asked about the clicker......

The clicker sound , on the old model, should be louder when you pull line from the reel. That´s right.
The new Classic(the one with holes) have the same clicker sound in both directions.

You are meaning that you can send it back to the shop where you bought it, right?
Which shop was it?

Noel,

Today I don't contest that the reel was RHW factory setting.

Later the reel was converted from RHW to LHW from the Loop service.

Because of this, and because it was not original LHW you and me agreed that you send back the reel and I refund you the money. That was at the 13th december.

You need more than two weeks to ship the reel back. I received the reel at the 5th january back!

From the 13th december on I send you several emails. I got late replies where you told me you send it the next day. Nothing happened till the week 52.

Inbetween you opened the disput at Paypal. The rest see above.

It was not my faut, that you got the money back so late. This depense on the dispute you have opened. Paypal informs, that they prove the dispute till 27th of january...and today you got the money back which PayPal deduct from my account at the 26th december.

I don't know what you want? You claim the reel. We agree that you send the reel back. You didn't send the reel contempary back. I refund you your shipping cost at 5th of January.

That you got the money so late back is your own blame because you opened a dispute overhasty and PayPal need appr. 30 days for proving the dispute and to refund you the deducted money.

Its really none of my business, and there is always 3 sides to a story.

I don't know either of these gents, so I'm not biased, but it sounds to me like the issue has been resolved??? Seeing that you did receive your refund.... And Deitmar has the reel back....

Dietmar,

There are hundreds of transactions every month on the classifieds forum. As a moderator, I get involved in only 2-3 a year. Interesting that your user name has come across my screen multiple times in the last month. I am not taking sides on any of them but I do believe in looking at patterns and based on the patterns I am seeing, I personally would not do business with you.

My advice to others is do so at your own risk.

I did get my money back and postage(minus paypal fees). It was just the trouble I had to go through to get it! I bought the reel in good faith from a fellow forum member on here which is usually a good place to do business with like minded people. I have seen the same reel being offered to people for sale on here before I had even got my money back? I sent loads off e mails that never got answered because he was out off the country and no access to internet, yet as soon as i put a dispute into paypal hey presto! He turns up and replies to my e mail! Then tries to get me to close the dispute because he needs to buy a Meiser rod from the America with paypal?(And he had no internet?) I found out today that if I had indeed closed the case then I would have lost out on my money. These are facts make your own mind up guys I am only trying to give you the heads up on my experiences with a sale I had transacted through Spey Pages classified.

...

So so Noel, today you found out that you would lost the money when you didn't opened the dispute...how do you do this?

This is a allegation which must be evidence! Please, Noel, demonstrate this, your allegation that everybody get clearence.

And Noel, please, don't tell only part without telling the whole coherence and in this coherence, please don't exaggerate. "Loads of emails" ... Three emails, on which I reply asap, were loads?

I hope, when you saw that the reel was offered again, that you, as a samaritan, admonish the person directly and personally so he didn't come to adversity why I am want to betray the buyer because I conceal that the reel was converted from RHW to LHW trough the Loop service. When not, why you didn't do this? Or did you wait till you got refund the money...yes, today you got the refund...the money which Paypal deducted from my account at the 26th december. It is interesting, that you start this thread today, the day when you got the refund. Why you didn't told the members about your experience 4 weeks ago? Noel...sorry,....Why you wait so long?

Noel, since when the buyer has to pay fees at paypal? That must be new.

@JGS

...yes, you have to relist the rod because I paid the rod attestable to you at 5th January and you told me to ship the rod quickly. But you ship the rod not, not within 2 weeks despite of promiseses. So I opened a dispute at Ebay and you were forced from ebay to refund me the money. This fact is confirmable.

For me it is a new experience, that somebody is able to discredit another member without viewable evidences within a forum! For me it is not to understand why the administration don't access and stop this because it depense only on allegations without evidences.

Everyone who want to get clearence can visit ebay.de and there can check my ebay feedbacks (at Dietmar0671)...

That speakes another language...238 totally positiv feedbacks as seller und buyer. That is my attestable reputation...

Dietmar

PS. I deleted three of my inputs because they were not pertinence and were not helping to clear the case.

@Sinktip

...yes you are right, that you saw my name on your screen this month. That are emails from me to the administration. If you have read the content you know why.

In other forums, the administration has stopped and possible delete a thread like this because the substance is not attestable and has invite the parties to clear the problem via PM why the cases are not evidenced and, and this is the main thing, here is not the right place to settle old scores.

Nobody, not Noel, not Johnny, not me, is able to clearance the complete case here. And here is not the right place to start an open-end settlement and to involve other member to take party without knowing the complete context.

Kindest regards

Dietmar

I have e feeling this thread has to be removed.

This website does not have the sophistication of Ebay to measure the rating of each seller and buyer. Both sellers and buyers rely on good faith.

It will be difficult to pass judgement based on incomplete statements and facts.

Maybe you'd have better luck buying and selling on the UK boards. Much closer to your home. Best of luck.

Dietmar,

The young lady from Paypal that was on the phone with me yesterday told me if I had have cancelled the dispute I would have had no legal claim to the disputed money in question. Please check this out, I was constantly in contact with you about the problems and you disappeared, no replies too e mails? It was a lot off money for a 2nd hand reel so I felt I did the right thing and entered into a dispute. It was advertised as a left handed reel, it wasn't. You were trying to involve third parties to pay to get the reel swapped over at Loop. This was getting far to complicated for me. You have wasted lots off my time with this that's what I am not happy about, I work away from home as I told you but still managed to communicate. And the little time I got home for Christmas I was wasting getting this reel shipped back to you. Then you told me If I did not cancel the dispute I would have to wait until the 24th January until you could transfer money, that's why I held of claiming the money. Meanwhile I could see you on here trying to buy rods fly lines etc???
Look I got my money back, you got your reel back. Next time come clean at the start to save everybody the trouble. I will not comment on it any further, no point............

Thanks
Noel

Noel,

I will bring this to end too.

One explanation to the money.

Paypal charged my Paypal account at the 26th December with the amount of 425 €, the amount you paid for the reel. This was a security deposit to save your rights. My account went into minus and I had to transfer the amount from my bank account to the PayPal account to balance the account to be able to use it.

Paypal email you and me, that they will make a decision till 27th of January. Yesterday they made the decision...in favor to you which was correct.

This decision comprised that you get back the money...and that was the money they took for a security deposit from my account. Yesterday you got no money from me personally...you got the money from Paypal. I had no ascendancy in this, only Paypal.

I hope you understand, that I had no possibility to send the money earlier.

To refund the money only now was a Paypal decision.

Have a good season 2012.

Kind regards

Dietmar
