FS: Shakespeare 13' - 9/10 Odyssey Salmon four piece

A budget rod that can really sling line. This rod has only been lawn cast a couple of times and has never seen water.

A lightweight rod with a grey finished blank and black wraps, moderate quality cork and a dual ring, downlock, metal reel seat. The reel seat fits modern reels only. The through action is moderately stiff with a reasonably quick recovery.

A perfect match with a Delta 9/10. When I first got the rod, I strung it up with the Delta and went switch casting in the yard. It put the entire 120' line out. If you like performance without the bling ...

Be a great rod for bigger steelhead, Kings and Coho. Cheap enough to be left in the truck or permanently left strung up in the garage. Cheap enough that you won't care if a big King blows it up. Cheap enough that you won't worry about lending it to a friend.

For lines, I'd use a Delta 9/10, a Skagit 650 or a 530-550 shooting head.

It comes with a sock and the plastic mailing tube.

$90.00 shipped Canada and CONUS, Paypal preferred.

I have the 12' version of this rod my Dad passed on to me and it's a cannon. I had a blast beating up Chum salmon with it and can't wait to put it to the test on some Chinook next year.
