FS - 3 7/8" Dingley

Reel is marked Ogden Smith 'ZEFER' - excellent condition - $450 shipped in US

St. John-sized Dingley marked ‘D9’ on frame and ‘9’ on the reel foot. No markings on spool. Strong check. Easily 95% of leading
remains. Bronze line guard shows some minimal wear. Smooth reel with a great sound and major mojo. Loud click, so everyone will know when you’re hooked up.

Trades considered.

Please contact me at ryan.p.saboATgmail.com

Thanks for any interest.

Ryan

Functional art. Dingley made some of the finest reels of all time. Thanks for the compliment Chris.

I hear ya Chris. I used to buy a keg, charge for a cup, and use the profits for gear/gas money to go fishing. I also fished so much my sophomore year that I got to have a second sophomore year. Ha.

spool width?

Is this spool width of the 3 7/8" Dingley the same as a 3 7/8" narrow Perfect, or is it 1" like the Taupo?

Spool width is 15/16" inside face to inside face measured with the spool removed.
