WTB JW Young 1535

I'm looking for JW Young 1535, doesn't matter what its branded as (LL Bean, Shakespeare etc). Aesthetics not too important, but must be in good mechanical condition. Will also consider a Beaudex in the equivalent size (4", wide spool).

PM me please.

Matt

On second consideration, a 1535 is probably a better match for my 13'6" 8wt... right?

Thanks for the PM Alex.

Matt, I have had dealings with Alex in the past and he is a straight shooter all the way.

I have also bought JW youngs off of misterflyguy (http://speypages.com/speyclave/member.php?u=4954) on here before it seems he has a bunch of them kicking around also a straight shooter.

I have a 1535 JW Young on my 13'6 8/9 Beula and really like it you will enjoy the reel once you find one. You may need to alter the foot a bit to fit it on a modern reel seat but it is easily done.

I second that, Alex is a great guy to deal with.

Unfortunately, I think a 1535 is probably more appropriate for a 13'6" 8wt... Thanks anyways Alex, next time

No worries, I agree that the 1535 is the one to get. Good luck in your search
Alex.
