LOST: Meiser Switch Rod 8/9 wt S2H10 89-4

Lost my favorite rod near Lewis Street bridge in Monroe, WA. a couple weeks ago.

Bob made this for me. Says "Custom made for Dave" on it.

It was my fault. Leaned it against the car in it's sock while I took off my waders...and then drove off.

Thanks TDD, I appreciate you looking for it.

I also checked the local pawn shops, but no luck.

Lost Meiser

I fish the Sky too. If I see someone with it I'll let you know. Did it have a reel attached to it? It might make it easier to spot.

Lightbulb A thought.

If you haven't already, do turn in a Police report. If it becomes necessary to involve your Insurance Company (deductible aside) a Police Report number carries a lot of 'weight' 'claim wise.

AD Pose:

Thanks for keeping an eye out for it. It is the rod only, in a rod sock--no reel. I think someone probably picked it up because I left it at the parking area, not by the river. But there's a $75 reward if you do find it

Hi Fred:

I thought about using my homeowners insurance but with the large deductible it doesn't make sense for me to do this. But thanks for the suggestion. Perhaps I'll see if I can get just get a blank from Bob and rebuild it myself cause I can't really afford a completely new custom build.

sorry to hear you lost your rod. I've used Geirach's technique of putting my rod under the windshield wiper. You can't forget it. Don't do this if it's been raining however ( don't ask me how I know this ).
