Osprey Collection

Hey guys!

I found an old Osprey collection of my dad's recently, and after doing some research and asking around, I'm looking to sell it. It's a collection of 5 flies framed and mounted on a background plate of a bank and fish. They're labeled "Connemara Black", "Kerrygold", "Thunder and Lightning", "Blue Charm", and "Logi" and were given to him in 1986.

Will consider other serious offers

You might want to give us an idea what you consider a serious offer. As this is your first post on the board, no one will know you and serious offer is pretty much open to interpretation.

It's a keep-sake.....and not much more. Obviously your Dad liked it enough to buy it,, keep it as something to remember him by.
From the quality of the patterns and the lack of any named fly tyers,, or company,, i think we would be paying for the frame only.
And for the record......I hate "for sale" first posts
Just sayin

I agree with Chaser but I'd say:

5 flies - $15.00
1 picture frame- $4.50
Waiting for the Shix storm to start over 1st post being on the classifieds...

PRICELESS ...

I bought off ebay a couple years ago a similar display but with trout flies..tied by an Irish fly company...really nice little frame and cool flies..cost me around 30 bucks with shipping...Honestly I kind of dig it..frame had to cost more then that...

Well sorry guys, looks like my info was way off. I was told the frame and plate would go for $75 and since the flies were tied in '86 the whole package could be worth around $250...

Salmon Chaser, one of the pictures shows that they were made by Osprey Angling in Tralee, Kerry, Ireland. I'll put it on Ebay this afternoon if you are still interested.

Thanks for all the feedback!
