WTB Silk line DT8

I'm searching for a Phoenix DT8 or DT9 silk line. Please let me know if you have something to sell.

Petri and tight lines

Will be interesting to see if you get a response on your request Peter. The lines, if memory serves, are made in France and run about $275.00 to $300 USD each. The only reference(s) to these lines I found via Google make it appear they have to sourced from your side of the Pond.

At a far lesser price are the Cortland Slyk (sp?) lines. I've cast these some time back and was quite impressed. They actually feel/cast like the 'real thing.' Save you can leave your Muslin can at home.

Fred

Edit: by just inputting "silk fly lines" I did get a few more hits (including one here in the States).

I'm pretty sure I have a hardy salmon silk line that's in really good condition , when I get home tonight I"l check and let you know. It' in my cabinet as I took it off a reel that I purchased
The plastik sylk line is cheeper but any I had just sucked. Always sinking the ends
I got rid of all mine. I did hear that they were working on it to better the line. It still don't feel or better sound like real silk line with the "l swish swish". Sound

And a mint new silk line is costly. But if you take care of it. Will last a lifetime and it lays and picks off the water so nicely
