I’m probably showing my ignorance here, but somewhere in the past I feel like I heard the actual contents of the “greased line” book was the same, or nearly the same. I’ve never been able to get confirmation of this, and have never seen a copy of “fine and far off”. I suspect this is not the case, but can you say how they are different Bruce?

The “greased line” book is pretty awesome and especially for how useful it is now, being from a whole other time. Most of the other older fishing books I’ve read were interesting more from the curiosity point of view, but that one is quite relevant as an instruction book, even now.

Definitely not the same at all!
Amazingly it’s shows what’s old is new again too.
