Conversion

You might be aware of this but thought I would mention it based on what you are wanting to trade for. You can convert the 11’ 4/5 into a 13’9” 5/6. I did this and absolutely love it. Light summer steelhead rod and big river trout rod.

Best of luck in your pursuit.

Yes, just this! Bob could build you the two extra sections I’m sure much cheaper than a new rod, but if you are never going to use the switch rod then I suppose there would be no point. I know you have had many of these go through your hands over the years, so I assume you know what you want.

The 5 piece spey config is also an awfully nice travel rod - unless it is one of the 15’ 9” ones, in which case I guess it is merely “manageable”. I have the 10613035 conversion rod and really love it. I also have a 5 piece 14246 I got from Bob last year that is just awesome so I assume it is only a mater of time before I get bob to build me the handle for the short spey rod config.

What they said. I have the 4116, that converts to a 6142. Both are amazing, super fun sticks.
