Reduced $295 shipped, or would also consider trading for a Meiser in
the 3-6 range plus cash.
G Loomis Streamdance Metolius 13'4" 5/6 Spey rod.
I have two of these rods only need one.
I live in Arkansas, I use this rod on the White River swinging for trout.
Lined with a Rio wind cutter II 365gn 49'.
These were one of the original trout spey rods developed by Loomis.
A true spey rod at 13'6". Skagit 400-450gn Mid Spey/Scandi 350-390 gn
This rod is in excellent plus condition, shows no wear from use.
Comes with original rod tube(missing cap) an sock.
Correct, LowWaterDouble. I recently purchased this rod on eBay and it broke first cast; I sent it to G. Loomis for warranty and they gave me a new rod that's a fair substitute (upgrades are not available), which was an IMX PRO #6 for $120. Overall, I was very happy with G. Loomis, especially considering that I did not have the warranty card and was not the original buyer. Always wanted the Metolius Trout Spey 5/6 (in working condition), I had the 5/6 Aero Head on it.
FYI
I have two of these rods, the one I'm selling I've only used a few times.
Condition is as described.
The one I'm keeping, I have used a lot.
Never experienced any problems with the rod including breakage.
These are great rods, kept two because the're kind of hard to find.
Only now selling a few rods now to fund another project.
Hope that helps.
Thanks
Hi
Haven't tried that. Right now I'm using a Windcutter II 49' 5/6 365 gn,
a little light, I think something in 390 to the low 400's would be better.
Thanks
UOTE=canowrms;2474024]Have you tried a Rio Short Head Spey 5/6 on it? I am looking for a good rod for that particular line.
