WTB: Abel Spey Reel

I'd like to buy any Abel Spey reel; would prefer a solid spool, or would buy a solid spool only.

I’ve got a black solid spool reel that’s in good condition. It might need new springs, the drag is very light for a 4in reel. Never bothered me cause I can palm it. Pm me if interested and let me know where your located. I can send pics too.
Cheers

If your Abel spey needs new springs contact Abel. I just got mine back from them they put in the heavier spring new version gear in the spool and a new seat for a ten buck shipping fee. Things got a bad ass drag now.

Yes. Agree with Zen. The folks at Ross / Abel are amazing about parts and service. Pricing is very affordable to keep your older Abel in tip top shape.

Do you still have that Abel Spey reel? Seems like your PM box is full. Let me know if you want to sell it.
