WTS Sage Graphite III Brownie 7136 7-Weight
Time to sell an old friend. I have owned it for several years, and learned to spey cast with it. I also managed to shorten it by six inches, just from graphite fatigue. The loss of six inches did not materially affect the way it casts. Sage will get you a new tip for about $150, if you are so moved. It is cosmetically very good, and shows very little use. It probably spent most of its life in a closet in Seattle.... ... As all of you know, these guys have a slow action compared to many of today's rods. You aren't going to be able to cast 4-inch string leeches to the far bank of the Skagit. But for a moderate-sized river and reasonable flies, it is a great rod. I have enjoyed it, but I really don't need it, so I am passing it on. It comes with the original sock and tube, both in nice shape. $175. I will pay the shipping in the lower 48.
If everybody used shoe horns, they'd catch 'em all on shoe horns.
