CND Black Spey 13'6" 7/8/9

Selling my almost mint CND as I will have too many rods. The blank is near perfect.
$260USD plus shipping.
Comes with original sock (could use a dunk in the river and little ironing) and will add a Airflo 570 Rage compact for $20usd

I would say the north fork is really a 7wt, with full flex to the cork. That black spey is definitely a 8wt with power in the bottom end, really only casted skagits on it and did so with authority, also very light in hand.

very helpful. thanks!

would you say the Black is a progressive taper (like the north fork) or more of a stiff/ fast action uniformly?

What a steal. A great rod and if I didn’t already have three in that length/weight range I would scoop it up.
