A Beauty 4" Wide Drum Gear & Pawl

Hello friends

I never thought I would consider selling this reel ...

A 1950's Allcock Gilmour 4" Wide Drum Gear & Pawl SOLD

You can see this reel is in very fine condition and probably one of the nicest examples of a Gilmour reel anywhere !!
Very clean looking reel with very nice clean lines. All black with brass foot.
The reel foot has been fabricated by a local shop out of naval brass and will fit any modern rod.
The check system is very solid. Currently set for Right Hand wind. It can easily be converted over to Left Hand wind with a flip of the pawls.
Can also be set for light or heavy click in both retrieves.
Reel is in excellent mechanical condition, no pitting on gears or hardware or surfaces, pawls and springs are in excellent condition and very strong. There is 99% of all enamel intact. One or two very minor blemishes.
Built as a workhorse salmon reel in the UK.
Running line is not included.

PayPal Preferred but Canadians can do EMT
Price is in US funds and includes shipping to your door within Canada or the ConUS

I will also include a set of tied in hand flies with this reel

Mike
