Bob,

Curses to you. You really are like a drug dealer. 🤣

Unless I can get some self control, you can expect an e-mail inbound.

};^) ... The tug is the drug Duggan ... !!!

On another note:

We have had a couple questions in regards to the warranty issues for these blanks.

Just want to note that these are not discontinued blanks ...

... In truth, even though we have introduced the new CX and MKX rods, there are still those anglers that want the Highlanders and MKS rods built up new, so we'll keep an inventory of them for years to come.

Thanks <> Meiz

Will this rod S2H14057C-4 <> 14'0" 5/6/7 wt, work with a CND GPS or Ballistic Vector 5/6 390gn.
or would a 6/7 440gn be more friendly.
Thanks

Skip,

The mentioned rod will deliver either the 390/440 lines with equal efficiency.

... It becomes more an issue of line management, required applications ... And caster skill.

A 14'0" rod should inherently take on a 50 grain variance with grace ... !!!

The 390 will cast off the top 2/3 of the rod (tip cast) utilizing minimal anchor touch-and-go deliveries ... Small flies, tapered mono leaders ( 12'/15').

Good for those low wind "Robin Egg" days ... Or misty early mornings ... !!!

... The 440 will dig deeper into the rod ... Allow poly/versa leaders of various sink rates (10' to +- 50 grains) and somewhat larger flies <> Better in more challenging, stronger wind conditions with bigger pay loads.

line to use?

Bod,
What line would I use on the S2H1112S-4 <> 11'1" 2 wt or S2H1113S-4 <> 11'1" 3 wt ?
Trying to decide.

That is a tuff question to answer accuratly without knowing the applications ... I'd suggest you give the shop a ring: 541-770-4766 so we can address your specific fishing environments in more detail then would allowed with a keyboard ...
