fiberglass 8ft 5/6wt

For your consideration is an 8ft 2/1 rod that I refurbished a couple of years ago. The blank is a Berkeley parametric that I stripped, sanded and recoated. I completed the rod with a 6 wells grip and my own .687 insert hardware with a walnut insert. Rod is finished with 11 black snakes with spacing based on a Winston. Has a nice new rod sock. I have tried the rod with a DT5 wto a WF 7 and it will work with any of them. I think most people will prefer it as a 5 or 6wt, but your mileage may vary. I like it with DT5.

It is a nice and light rod and a nice and underrated taper.
I will ship it in PVC. $90 OBO shipped CONUS.

The reel seat hardware is made for me by Joel Lemke. It is anodized aluminum. The insert is stabilized black walnut that Joel also does for me. Joel designed the ring so that it will fit a variety of reel feet, including Hardy's. Let me know if I can help with anything else.
