Hi im wanting to trade my early hardy uniqua mark II 4 1/4. I no longer have the rod i use this with and it doesnt get used much because of it. The inside are in good condition. There is no wobble or loose play with the spool the check is still very strong and oh so loud. There is some cosmetic damage. The foot is no longer its original size. The outside as shown in picture has been damaged a bit over the years. Im not to sure what happened it was already done when i bought the reel. Im guessing maybe salt. Other then her make up being off its a really cool and solid reel that still is perfect for fishing and it comes with history 😉. Great for large rods . Looking for a 3 1/2 to 4inch reel . Also would be interested in a trout spey

Kevin -

If you basically like the reel, why not get a rod on which it will fit? I have a 4.25" Uniqua that fits nicely on one of Bob Meiser's older 13'6" rods. Although I like Bob's new blanks, I'll keep that older rod just for this reason - as well as it's not that much heavier than his new ones.

Just a thought.
