Loomis GL3 12/13 Mega

Loomis GL3 12/13 Mega 3pc

Due to some life changes, my offshore salt days are nearly done. I picked up this rod from another board member last year. Landed a few big Ambers and a small Mahi on it. Great shape, near new, sock, tube included. Very user friendly rod, considering. I have some lines that match it very well, if buyer is interested. Its getting cold up here, I know somebody is heading south this winter.

Would trade for.......... whatever.

Or $200.00 shipped in the lower 48.

trade

here is whatever................

I have a redington NTiQ fly rod blank. 9' 9wt 3-pc. The blank is new and never cast of course......it still needs built. Fast action. These rods sold for $700 +
details for the rod review at http://www.tackletour.com/reviewredntiq.html

I also have a set of Recoil guides that would work for it, mabey trade for line.

If it is something you may be interested in let me know. I can send some pics if needed.

This is a great rod and I was going to build it but have so many other 8 and 9wt's the motovation is gone. I have been looking for a bigger rod for a while but it just has not made it to my priority list.

P.S. also is the loomis rod a 9ft or 8.5ft.
thanks

Loomis Mega

As I recall, the Mega's were a saltwater rod. The higher number refering to the butt/center section, the lower number refering to the tip section.

I fish because the voices inside my head tell me to.

I was under the assumption that the Mega's were the Saltwater model also.

Thought I had a buyer maybe still do, would like to get this gone. If it doesn't sell here, it will go back in the corner.

Mega

I have an 8/9 and it's a great rod. I will check with a friend in Va. to see if he has any customers who would be interested.

If your sneaky, you could probably get them off my feet between the funeral home and the cemetery.
