I don't a little research for you Shawn and this is what I came up with.

Rio recomends a outbound 10 at 425 grains. What you are looking at would weigh somewhere near 560 grains.(estimate since that don't make this line)
Rio does make an AFS 8/9 head that weighs in at 520 grains and a 9/10 head that weighs in at 580 grains. The 9/10 is closer to what you where looking for.

Have you tried a outbound 10 on this rod?

You could use some single hand lines on this rod also. I have 2 switch rods now haven't got a line for the second one yet. But the other switch rod works good over head casting with a line that is 3 weigh sizes bigger than the rod. I use a 8 wt single hand line on a 5 wt switch rod.

Hope this helps.

Still looking for a tropical 13wt. Anyone with a new or near new would be great. I have a new WF11F if a swap makes it easier.

Hi Jamie
I have about given up on the 13 wt. Is your 12wt line still available and if so how much.
Regards Shaun
