I offer up this uniorn for sale. This seems to be a reel of which very few were produced, Ive not seen another and only heard rumours of one other in existence, but it does have a no.6 serial #

I reached out to Danielsson and they were unable to give me any infomation on it. They did produce it as its etched on the reel.

Anyways here goes... This is a Hi-Tec but unlike others I own. It is the same diameter as the1st gen Salmon but not as wide. It also seems that this Hi-Tec does not have the same drag system as the Danielsson/Loop versions. It has only 4 adjustment positions and when applied has equal drag in both directions, similar to the Traditional reels. When you apply upward pressure to the drag adjustment knob it ads drag. I have been unable to free the spool from the frame to confirm, seems to me its a fixed spool.

The reel is in new condition, has never been lined or mounted on a rod, itís 11/10 condition.

I taken some photos beside a Hi Tec Salmon for comparison.. The Salmon is not for Sale.

Ill do my best to answer any questions, If youre reading this and have more info than I do, feel free to chime in.

$650USD plus stamps
