Redington DFR 13' 8wt for sale

Hey all,

I've got a Redington DFR 13' 8wt 3 pc. in excellent condition with original sock and tube also in excellent to nearly new condition for $175.00 that I'd like to move.

Not to confuse it with any of the "Red" series, this was their high end stick a few years ago, listed at around $600.00 but I'm just not using it.

Will split shipping to lower 48.

Thanks!

This rod actually had a list price of like $349.95, not $600.00. At any rate, it is a discontinued model that is a good casting 2-hander.

Hmmmm...

Not to get into a whizzing match , but I'm pretty sure we're not talking the same rod series. Here's a link that has the item description from the Redington catalog along with suggested retail and what they were being closed out at for anyone curious. The site starts out in Euro's but click the currency option to USD and it had a list of over six hundy. The pic's also show handle and grip that are not what they put on their other spey sticks. This wasn't a very well known series and Sage bought them out at about this time and DC'd them.

As an aside, it is a discontinued model but Sage still supports it.

Thanks all for looking!

This is our cult rod for the angler who had seen it all. The trimodulus construction of this rod brings ease and accuracy together that attracts the most discriminating and relaxed angler. Recommended by doctors for avoiding rotator cuff injury, or for afterwards when you won’t stop fishing. These rods do it for you. These are the most beautiful rods David F. Redington (DFR) makes and he makes them every day. All three piece from #2 to a double handed 15’ #10.
