Orvis Helios1 Zero Gravity Switch 115 (11' 5wt) MINT

<<<SOLD>>>

Up for sale is my unused 5wt switch. I'm simply only using only 5wt speys as my smallie water is wide-open, not requiring the compactness of an 11' switch.

This rod is incredibly light and as you all know the predecessor to the phenomenally light H2. Very handsome build and components.
Very smooth to load and unload with a slow or medium stroke, handles light lines in the 300+/-grain range. Handles light to medium tips nicely, and performs very well with overhead casts as well.

The rod itself is literally 100% brand-new as it was recently freshly-built as a warranty replacement for the horribly damaged one I sent in to Orvis. I know that all four sections are built new, because the one I sent in had all four sections snapped in half, and this one is minty-mint. Cork is in perfect condition, not a scratch to be found on her.

Comes with the original carbon-fiber tube and sock, the tube may have a couple small scratches on it but still looks great.

Asking 350 U$D

I accept paypal and will split the actual shipping costs 50/50 either from Quebec, Canada or New York.

If you need to line this puppy, I might have a few options I could offer according to my own experience with this model.

If anything in the pictures isn't clear, just ask and I can send more close-ups.

I'm guessing either a door or a great white shark

a distant third would be a jealous alcohol laced spouse

(The sale as part of the reconciliation)

Good guesses all. A crumpled trunk on a rear-ending will do it especially when the rod isnt in its tube.
Another guess or gambit is that Orvis didnt have parts for the model anymore and might have ponied up an H2...

Either way, this rod is new.

Weekly bump for the Monday blues... Just imagine yourself escaping the office to hunt some trout, smallies, or summer run fish with this fine rod.
