WTB - Switch rod

Hi all,

Looking for a switcher... something that'll cross over from summer to winter steelheading, but probably mostly summer. Thinking along the lines of a 7wt. Maybe a 7/8? I might even be talked into a 6/7 if the price is right. On a relatively tight budget. Got anything?

Thanks.

I was getting ready to post a Sage 7110-4 Z-Axis switch rod soon if you're interested. It's been on the water for a total of maybe 3 or 4 days. Condition is absolutely like new. I can provide pictures if you'd like, and would probably ask around $475 or so.

Let me know if you have some interest.

Hate to direct you from my favorite site to my other favorite site, but a Beulah 11'6" 6/7 just came up on Kienes (flyshop) classified section for $150 I believe.

I'm planning an upcoming trip to TDF, and I'd really like to take a 8110-4 Z-Axis. Since I'll be getting that one, I really don't have a use for 2 rods that are so similar. I love the 11' Z's, they're an absolute rocket

How's this for a price point?

I have a switch rod which I bought a few years ago to see what the switch rod noise was about. It's a Chinese-made Angler's Roost tan graphite 11' 3-section 8 weight. It has a smooth, predictable medium-fast action. Excellent condition. I've used it a few times before upgrading to a Meiser. Bag but no tube. $65 plus at-cost shipping, and perhaps I could deliver it in person in the n.w. WA area.
