Wanted, Rio Grandspey 11-12

Hello,
I have an old 17ft splitcane rod and tried to speycast it whit XLT competition line, and it`s just too light
I`ve been told that the Grandspey line is one of the heavyest lines thats been made.
So if someone has an extra one laying a round , i sure would like to buy it.

I would pay with Paypal.

Regards Kevin

According to the 2003 Rio catalog, the 10/11 GrandSpey, the largest size shown, was 1500 grains. That was a rod-straining load for my 10/11 rods. For the 2005 catalog, the GrandSpey weight standards were lowered, leaving them hefty but reasonable. The 10/11 was then 1100 grains, and the 11/12 GS was 1300 grains.

Are you sure that your bamboo isn't a surf rod?
