WTS: Winston 7133 + Reel + Lazar

REEL: Sweetening this offer by adding a lightly used TFO Prism 9/11 wide-arbor
spey reel ready for action. It's lined with 150 yards of #30 dacron backing
plus a lightly used #40 OPST Lazar line.

ROD: A PNW coast classic in very good condition per the photos below, complete
with the Winston "howitzer" style tube. This rod was made famous on the
Deschutes by John Hazel of Deschutes Angler. He describes how he rigs
the rod (for the Dean) here: deneki.com/2009/03/john-hazels-steelhead-rig/

The Rio specs for the rod:
Skagit: 475-525
Scandi: 400-460
Scandi Versitip: #7-#8

Condition: the rod is in very clean condition with light soiling on the cork.
There is one nick in the rim of the cork I've been careful to photograph.
The rod had a small chip in paint on the male ferrule when I bought it new,
which has not changed/grown--there's a close up below.

Price: SOLD!

Condition issue: female ferrules are mint. You'll note a slight nick in the cork rim in photo 2. Paint chip
in photo 3.

Reel: TFO Prism 9/11 with orange #30 dacron was identified as the ideal first spey reel
by the Welches Fly Shop where I acquired it. I upgraded the running line to #40 OPST
Lazar line. I cut off appx 30 feet in normal use and the remainder is in fine fishable condition.
There are some superficial scratches if you look closely at the top photo, but else it's in
very good shape. It balances the reel very well. It' spools up any of the lines recommended
with good room to spare on the spool. It's a quiet reel. Drag seems strong and smooth, though
I personally set it to minimum drag to avoid over-spool and just palmed it.
