Hardy Perfect - sizes

Does anyone here know what sizes the Perfects was made in?
I can see here that Perfects sized in inches followed by x/16" or x/8" are trout reels.
Those marked x/4" or 1/2" - or without any fraction - are salmon reels with wider drums.
I have seen a picture of a 6" Perfect - also heared that they vere made up to this size. Was that a special order or did they make them that big?
And if someone have a size 5" tell me

re Perfects

Here is the info I have. The perfects were designed in a basic salmon form and the "contracted" series.the later series were for "dry fly fishing" and came in sizes 3 1/8-3 3/8-3 5/8-3 7/8 They all had a drum width of 1 1/6 except fot the las tone that had a width of 1 2/16[in british terms.
The Salmon series of reels was made in sizes 2 1/2 to 6 inches reel numbers 414 for the smallest reel to number 425A for the 6 inch. For an extra 7s.6d you could get the revolving line guard on any reel.Hope not to bore you but these reel sizes were 2 1/2-2 5/8-2 3/4-3- 3 1/4-3 1/2 -3 3/4- 4"- 4 1/4-4 1/2-4 3/4-5-5 1/4 and 6in.All of these reels were wide drum as far as I know from my little knowledge.FYI the initial price of the 2 1/2 in reel was 1LB.6s.6d. about 5 dollars. The small reels are scarce as is the 5 5 1/4 and 6.
NOTE THAT THE "DRY FLY REELS' ARE ALL 3 IN AND IN 1/8TH MEASUREMENTS.tHE ONLY SALMON REEL[WIDE DRUM] IN 8THS OF AN INCH WAS THE 2 5/8 SIZE.
Are there any corrections-I would like to know.? for my records.

....

This was great. Just what I wanted so thank you.
In the 1923 Catalogue from Hardy its written that they made the 5 1/4",
5 3/4" and the 6" if someone ordered them. So not so many of those were produced then...

Having seen what a 4 1/2 will hold, I can't imagine a need for a 6" for anything swimming in freshwater

hello Roar,
A 5" perfect went for 3000 quid March 2008 at a large tackle auction.
Good Luck on your quest.
