WTB- 375gr Elixer Spey line.

If anyone has this line for sale I would gladly purchase it. I have an Elixer Switch that came with my 12'6" rod but I think the line is too short for my likings.

Thanks

Tim

I have the 375 grn Elixer Switch line on a Beulah Platinum 12'6" 6 wt. I purchased the rod second hand and the seller included the line. The line works sufficiently but personally I prefer a longer line. Do you have one for sale?

Bummer I was hoping you had the 325 or 350 switch

I use the 375 switch on a 13'6 7/8 and it's magic. That's a 7/8 line

Your 6w would do better with the 350 or 325

I am ordering both of the above lines. If they work better for what I need I'll part with my 375 Spey if you haven't found one

If you want to try the 375 Spey to see if it's what you want you may borrow mine so long as you return it

Kind regards,
J

Well...I just ordered a Ballistic Express II Scandi head its 380 grn and 32 feet. This seems about right to me based on what Beulah recommends for this rod. Apparently the Ballistic II Scandi heads have been shortened and lightened (at least for the 6 wt). Beulah (and Bruce Berry) recommend their Elixer Scandi 375 grn @31 feet.
